Please drink responsibly, no, seriously.

Right, you guys might think we are joking here (kinda wish we were) but of course, launching a nightlife society in Washington State is going to come with some rules, this is the political capital of course. So long story short, we need to make sure you nutters aren’t up to anything too crazy.

Don’t get me wrong, we all get a bit crazy at times, but when it is happening on a chronic basis (chronic actually just means heavy occurence) and you find yourself going out every single night of college – you probably have some sort of alcohol dependency.

Now i’m not trying to say that everyone who goes out 3 – 5 times a week is an alcoholic, because let’s face it, otherwise we would all have been alcoholics at some point! However, I am talking mainly about the ones that are also perhaps failing in other commitments in their life.

Sometimes you have to sit down and ask yourself, is gong out all of the time a good excuse for me not going to my lectures, seminars and classes? It is estimated that over 30% of Washington State students have this issue and a recent threaten of an event ban in November confirms that most frats are out of control.

In light of this, Washington State has asked us to reach out to the frats and societies, yes you scoundrels that have the uni on high alert have gotten us into this and you are getting us out! We recommend that you look into alcohol detox programs. If you would like to stay anonymous, the 12 steps of AA is a good place to start and will put you on the right track to getting your addiction treated.

Again, if you feel like this post has reached out to you and you think you may have a problem, please contact us and we can then put you into the capable hands to get you treated 🙂
